Before:
The original kitchen featured solid oak cabinetry, laminate countertops, and mismatched carpet and vinyl flooring between the kitchen and dining spaces. While durable, the heavy wood tones and limited lighting made the room feel enclosed. The built-in desk area lacked functionality and visual appeal, with cluttered storage and outdated finishes. Overall, the layout was practical but lacked the modern aesthetic and cohesion the homeowners desired.
After:
The remodel reimagined the kitchen into a bright, cohesive, and highly functional space with carefully curated materials and design details. The updates included:
- Cabinetry: Refinished in a soft, creamy white with elegant trim detailing to create a light and timeless appearance.
- Countertops: Upgraded to natural granite featuring soft veining for durability and luxury.
- Backsplash: A clean subway tile design with a glass accent strip introduces subtle contrast and texture.
- Flooring: Wide-plank luxury vinyl in a warm wood tone provides durability and a seamless transition to surrounding spaces.
- Lighting: New fixtures, including a statement pendant over the island and a modern drum light above the desk area, add warmth and visual interest.
- Desk Nook:
Refreshed with coordinating cabinetry, granite countertop, and an accent wall that adds depth and sophistication.
